Castle Stairs (also called New Castle Stairs) are the following part of Thunovská Street and they lead into the front zone of Prague Castle. The Stairs have 220 steps and is about 160 meter length. Castle Stairs were built as early as in 1278. Paradox is, that New Castle Stairs are older than Old Castle Stairs. There have always been busy and active traffic on these stairs.
